Bernard’s Bistro offers quality French influenced food. This small restaurant is next to an ice skating rink and has a nice view of the lake. The interior is neatly decorated and has a relaxed ambiance. I was seated at the patio in the shade, which presented me with a nice view and a cool atmosphere. My server, Roger, was exceptional and he knew his menu well. He recommend the Grilled Chicken sandwich or the Chicken Mille Feuilles.

I ordered Grilled Chicken sandwich and was deeply impressed. This dish featured four open faced sandwiches, each one a generous size, and grilled chicken breast topped with some mustard and a slice of tomato. The quantity of my dish surprised me. I thought half of what I received would have been an average portion, especially considering what I paid. This plate also came with a side salad. The sandwich was truly tasty and I would order it again. Another dish that I enjoyed was the fillet mignon.

This was extremely tender and cooked to perfection! The menu was quite reasonably priced. It had a great selection of dishes and the prices were in a large range so it kept your options open. Whether looking for a light snack or a full meal, this menu would surely satisfy your needs. The service at this restaurant was great. As mentioned, my waiter knew everything about the menu and was friendly. After I had my meal, the cook, Bernard, came around the tables.

He was friendly and glad to see that I enjoyed every aspect of my meal. This place was not a full house, though it had a fair number of people. This helped create the perfect atmosphere, not being overcrowded and not empty. What stood out to me about this restaurant was the large quantity and great quality of the food. This little restaurant surpassed all of my expectations. I am looking forward to coming back and sampling the rest of their menu.

Overall, this restaurant provided up-scale French influenced food at an unbeatable price. I would recommend this to anyone, especially to a couple looking for a romantic meal with a nice view of the lake.

The Sonrisa Grill is a wonderful restaurant found at Lake Las Vegas. While there, I tried the Fish tacos which turned out to be a real treat! They were made up of halibut and were a bit spicy. I had the chips and salsa for an appetizer and found out that the salsa was made fresh daily and was quite tasty. For my drink I ordered a margarita. This margarita was smooth and delicious and, in my experience, the best I have had so far! I was particularly impressed with the perfect citrus mixture of tang and tart. A third dish that caught my attention was the ribs. They were tender, yet they didn’t fall of the bone. The sauce was thick and rich, very different to other ribs sauces that I have tried. This dish was served with a mango salsa. I thought the mango would not pair well with the ribs, but I was in for a surprise!

The selection on the menu was different from the usual restaurant and presented new flavors and combinations. Overall, the dishes ranged from an inexpensive price to reasonable. There is also a patio with extra seating and a brilliant view. I would highly recommend seating yourself at this patio because it offers a cooler temperature and a lighter atmosphere than inside. The service at this particular restaurant was decent. The staff welcomed me with a warm smile and made me feel at home. I was seated fairly quickly and my food was served at the usual time. When I went there, there were an average number of customers, so it I was not overwhelmed with people.

The theme of the décor was what you would expect in a typical Mexican restaurant. It didn’t bog up the restaurant, and it didn’t leave big empty spaces. What stood out to me most were the new and unique combinations of food that they offered. This restaurant seemed to put a new unique flavor into each dish which made the menu a delight to experiment with. All in all, I would come back to this restaurant to explore the rest of their selective menu and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Enjoying a decent meal while watching the sun set over the lake really completes your stay at Lake Las Vegas.

Located in the heart of Lake Las Vegas, lies this Italian themed restaurant. The Luna Rossa offers quality Italian food at a fair price. During my visit, I tried the penne alle vodka with shrimp which was as beautiful as it was delicious. The pasta in this dish was cooked to perfection and there was a generous amount of shrimp. The sauce had a good number of spices and was not too heavy or too thin. Another meal that I tried was the linguine with tomatoes and shrimp. That turned out to be a brilliant and light dish. I would also recommend the house wines, as they seemed to compliment the food and came at a reasonable price.

The bread that was served was warm and delightful, much better than the ordinary bread from other restaurants. My favorite food item was the Lavazza coffee. I found this rich and perfectly brewed cup of coffee to be the highlight of the meal. The sizes of the portions were very decent for the price and enough to satisfy your hunger without feeling stuffed. There is a patio for outdoor dining which overlooks the lake. The Ambiance created at Luna Rossa was warm and welcoming. This went well combined with the view of the lake from my seat in the shade on the patio. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful. They quickly had me seated and studying their menu within a few minutes of my arrival. The décor was what you would expect for a typical Italian restaurant. This restaurant’s location was away from the hustle and bustle of town and which helped to improve the relaxed and calm atmosphere. I would recommend trying the penne alle vodka with shrimp and a house wine.

I greatly enjoyed that meal and would have it again. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would come back again if I had the chance, especially to order another dish of pasta with a Lavazza coffee. This quiet restaurant turned out to be a great success and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for great Italian food at a reasonable price in an excellent location.

The Medici Cafe and Terrace at Lake Las Vegas offers a taste of Italy. Located at the Ravella hotel in Lake Las Vegas, this restaurant provides top-notch food at an affordable price. I was seated within moments upon arrival, and was served shortly after. The outdoor terrace is an elegant place to enjoy your meal and provides extra seating and an exceptional view. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful and gave you something to think about while waiting for your meal.

I tried the risotto, which turned out to be rich and had a large amount of lobster. I would highly recommend the six course meal, where each course presented unique tastes and experiences. If you do order the six course meal, it is best to also order the extra wine taste testing. That way you can enjoy an exceptional glass of wine that blends perfectly with every course. The view of the lake and of the gardens helped create the luxurious atmosphere at this restaurant. The service was terrific, my server was knowledgeable with wines and was able to pick out the perfect wine to accompany my meal. The wine he chose really complimented the salmon. In the end, it was the quality of the food that stood out to me most. My favourite dish was the braised short rib. This plate offered tender boneless ribs covered in a rich thick sauce. After the main course, I would plan to save room for dessert.

Chris Hammer is a world champion pastry artist who creates the elegant pastries and desserts at Medici. Some of the items on the dessert menu include Hazelnut Chocolate Cake, gelatos, and sorbets. Another highlight at this restaurant is that the display kitchen allows customers to watch their food be prepared and also presents wonderful smells throughout the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a truly high class meal at Lake Las Vegas. The Medici Cafe and Terrace is one of the top restaurants in Lake Las Vegas and I would travel out of my way just to dine there again.

The Aston MonteLago Lake Las Vegas Resort is an incredible resort nestled in the valley of Lake Las Vegas. Just 30 minutes from the strip, this resort offers clean spacious rooms with elegant decor. I would recommend that you ask for a room with a balcony. That way, you can see the beautiful view of the lakeside from the comfort of your room. This hotel is perfect for either a family vacation or for a romantic getaway. There was a free shuttle to the strip which made a car of no use to you, however there is free parking.

This hotel is just a short walk away from the stops and restaurants. Free Wi-Fi is abundant throughout the hotel. The amenities on the entertainment unit were plentiful and would be able to keep kids busy for quite a while. There is a fitness center, a hot tub, and three large pools. The ambiance of the whole resort was very tranquil and peaceful. My room had a comfortable bed and many pillows to choose from. The landscape and interior decor was very modern and well maintained. If felt as though I was inside a postcard. If wasn’t too busy, so it turned out to be an actual get away from my usual life. The kitchen in the two bedroom suite was adequate for cooking a full meal if you desired to stay at the resort at night. They have individual units for sale at this resort, so if plan on coming back more often, then that is always an option.

The service was great and it felt as though the staff knew you personally. This quick vacation made me feel like I was in Europe. An Italian themed village is close by which has an arsenal of restaurants to choose from. The great value and excellent location of this resort make your stay quite enjoyable. All in all, this resort provided well priced elegant rooms at a marvellous location. I would recommend this hotel to someone who is looking for an affordable vacation room at a spot away from the crowded Vegas strip.

The Auld Dubliner is a delightful little restaurant located at Lake Las Vegas. Once there, you choose your own seating and are then served shortly. The Classic Ruben was an elegant dish which featured lightly toasted bread, perfectly done meat, and a side of French fries. Another pleasant dish was the Chicken Wrap. This plate is large enough to completely satisfy your hunger without leaving you with a heavy stomach. The chicken in this particular dish had a memorable taste and the lettuce was green and fresh. All these delicious meals came at a reasonable price. While dining at this location, you can listen to the free live music that is presented Friday and Saturday nights.

There is outdoor seating which has a nice view of the lakeside and of the village marketplace. The Auld Dubliner is a part of an Irish chain of restaurants. However I found this particular location to be more relaxed due to the smaller size and location. The selection of items on the menu was plentiful and did well to satisfy any food craving you might have. The authentic décor at this restaurant was interesting and helped to create a warm classic atmosphere. Another bonus to this place is that they allow pets that are on leashes in the outdoor patio. I found this as particularly good news because I own a small dog that I take on vacation. The service at this restaurant was quite remarkable. I noticed that this small restaurant was extremely busy, and yet the waiters managed to keep up with the large volume of people quite well.

What surprised me was that the food came very quickly, even though it was a full house. For food dishes, I would recommend the Classic Ruben. That particular plate was tasty and filing. In the end, the food was delicious, the price was fairly reasonable, the service was great, and the view was magnificent. This classic little restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and view the sunset over the lake. I would definitely recommend The Auld Dubliner to anyone who wants a meal or just a light snack while they enjoy their stay at Lake Las Vegas.

Marssa is a high end Japanese restaurant found in the Lake Las Vegas resort area. This restaurant provides surprisingly exceptional sushi. I did not have to wait to be seated, and my food was served fairly quickly. The service is wonderful, my server knew plenty about the menu and was able to explain any dish I didn’t understand and make excellent recommendations. All of the ingredients were fresh and the dishes were truly unique. I have never experienced sushi such as this. Although the prices were not inexpensive, the quality food and service was worth the money. This restaurant also offers classes that you can take to learn how to prepare sushi at home.

I ordered the Tropical Salmon Sushi Roll. This plate consisted of tuna, avocado, mango, salmon, and a hint of lemon. I was pleasantly surprised as to how well the salmon and the mango blended. Another dish that I tried was the Miso braised Kobe Short Rib. This particulate plate had mushrooms, onions, grilled asparagus, and of course, tender short ribs. This heavy dish was one of my favorites, and left me overly satisfied. For desert, I had the chocolate Lava Cake. This cake was soft, filled with a rich thick center, and came with berries. Another desert that I would highly recommend is the Asian Pear Tart. This delicious light tart is now one of my all time favorite deserts!

This restaurant is the perfect place to go with friends or on a date. If one of your friends does not enjoy sushi, then he can try some of the other items on the menu such as steak, as the menu isn’t limited to sushi only. During my stay, I noticed that the patio was currently under construction and would be open soon. Once open, the patio would provide a beautiful view of the lake. Head Chef of this restaurant is Master Fuji, who is the only master sushi chef in Nevada. The decor was elegant and created an interesting ambiance. The food dishes were fantastic and very appealing. Overall, this was definitely the best sushi that I have ever consumed. I would drive out of my way just to eat here again and I highly recommend this phenomenal restaurant to anyone who is a fan of sushi.
