Luna Rossa

Located in the heart of Lake Las Vegas, lies this Italian themed restaurant. The Luna Rossa offers quality Italian food at a fair price. During my visit, I tried the penne alle vodka with shrimp which was as beautiful as it was delicious. The pasta in this dish was cooked to perfection and there was a generous amount of shrimp. The sauce had a good number of spices and was not too heavy or too thin. Another meal that I tried was the linguine with tomatoes and shrimp. That turned out to be a brilliant and light dish. I would also recommend the house wines, as they seemed to compliment the food and came at a reasonable price.

The bread that was served was warm and delightful, much better than the ordinary bread from other restaurants. My favorite food item was the Lavazza coffee. I found this rich and perfectly brewed cup of coffee to be the highlight of the meal. The sizes of the portions were very decent for the price and enough to satisfy your hunger without feeling stuffed. There is a patio for outdoor dining which overlooks the lake. The Ambiance created at Luna Rossa was warm and welcoming. This went well combined with the view of the lake from my seat in the shade on the patio. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful. They quickly had me seated and studying their menu within a few minutes of my arrival. The décor was what you would expect for a typical Italian restaurant. This restaurant’s location was away from the hustle and bustle of town and which helped to improve the relaxed and calm atmosphere. I would recommend trying the penne alle vodka with shrimp and a house wine.

I greatly enjoyed that meal and would have it again. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would come back again if I had the chance, especially to order another dish of pasta with a Lavazza coffee. This quiet restaurant turned out to be a great success and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for great Italian food at a reasonable price in an excellent location.
